ShShepherd's Pod

Our pod is sited in our small camping meadow, surrounded by farmland. Newbiggin Crags is just behind us and our pod makes the most of the stunning views of Ingleborough and the Yorkshire Dales that we are lucky enough to enjoy. You get the best of the views, being sited towards the front of the meadow, meaning your views are not affected by other visitors - possibly just by a few sheep and lambs in the field in front! There's plenty of space of your own and we offer just 5 pitches in total, giving you a calm and peaceful place to stay.

  • £70 per night or £490 per week.

  • Sleeps 2 adults and a child (up to 5 years old).

  • £10 extra per night, per additional adult or £5 per child (if pitching a small tent).

  • One Greener Camping Club membership required per booking (£12 annual membership fee if there are no current members in your group, which we can organise for you).

What is included?

  • The pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably and can also accommodate a small 120x60cm cot bed mattress for a child. You are also welcome to pitch a small tent alongside the pod.

  • The pod has electricity with 2 spot lights and charging points. Please do not bring your devices such as kettles, heaters, toasters, hairdryers or straighteners as they overload the electric supply.

  • Double bed. Bedding is included but if you would like to bring your own we can offer a £10 a night discount on your stay.

  • Picnic bench and Kadai Fire pit/ BBQ with basic tools.

Please bring:

  • Towels and any toiletries that are not mentioned above as included.

  • Sensible footwear, clothes and waterproofs – we’re based on the side of a fell and weather can be changeable even in summer, so come prepared and check the forecast before you travel.

  • Food and drinks – the nearest shop is 3 miles away and we only sell milk, cheese and eggs at the farm so please come fully prepared. There are no takeaways or delivery services nearby.
